Moisturizers Week 2

Your skin is your body’s largest organ. It protects you, regulates temperature, and serves as your first line of defense. So why put anything toxic on it? Many of us don’t think twice about the ingredients in our skincare products, but as I’ve become more aware, I want to share what truly benefits your skin—products that protect, nourish, and give you that luminous, healthy glow.

We’ve all seen those Dove commercials where the model’s skin looks flawless, smooth, and radiant. That kind of glow isn’t out of reach—it just takes the right approach and the right products. The first step? Know what you’re putting on your skin. Avoid harmful chemicals and toxins that can do more harm than good.

In the next sections, I’ll break down the best products and techniques to help you achieve healthy, glowing skin—without the hidden risks.

In my last post, I highlighted the best body washes to ensure you’re using safe, non-toxic options. If you haven’t checked it out yet, take a look—it’s important to start with a clean foundation.

When it comes to moisturizers, there are plenty of great choices. One of my personal favorites is coconut oil. I keep a big tub in my shower and slather it on while my skin is still damp—it locks in moisture and keeps my skin feeling soft and nourished.

If you prefer a traditional body lotion, here are three I highly recommend:

• Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion – A gentle, fragrance-free option great for sensitive skin.

• Gold Bond Retinol Overnight Moisturizer – Hydrates while smoothing and rejuvenating skin overnight.

• Dove Soothing Bamboo – Lightweight and refreshing with a calming scent.

Finding clean, nourishing products doesn’t have to be complicated. I hope this helps you take another step toward a skincare routine that’s both safe and effective!
